This is a beautiful Catalan glazed ceramic made in the 20th century. These pitchers are popularly known as a 'Doll of Cadaqués' and were designed for transporting and drinking water. The multiple handles were used for lowering the pitcher into a well upright and the two on the right were used for pouring. It really is a little piece of history. Not to mention the gorgeous emerald green of the glaze.
