This rare find is a real piece of art. It was made by French ceramicist, Robert Picault, in probably the 1960s. Picault's work is defined by green and brown geometric motifs, just like this one here. Picault was a great friend and next-door-neighbour of Pablo Picasso and the two made a series of short films together in the 50s.
The jug is signed 'RP' by Robert Picault on the base.

Condition: In very good condition. No chips or cracks. There is one dribble of cream paint at the rim by the handle.
